At ASI Solutions, giving back to the local community is part of our DNA. By joining forces with local businesses, we are proud to be making an impact to support the vital efforts of Eat Up Australia.
On Monday June 19, Team ASI joined forces with other local businesses at the Lakes Business Park in Botany to volunteer our culinary skills and time in support of Eat Up Australia.
With a mission to provide fresh sandwiches and donated snacks to schools for kids who would otherwise go hungry at lunch, Eat Up Australia supports over 600 schools nationally and provides over 12,000 cheese sandwiches each week to schools.
The event, hosted at Cafe Gusto, saw over 40 volunteers pitch in to help with the sandwich-making process and the team spirit was incredible as everyone was doing their part to make this event a success. The power of collective action was evident and within half an hour we had created 1044 sandwiches. Seeing such a huge result in such a short amount of time was inspiring.
At ASI Solutions we care deeply about giving back to our community, and this collaborative effort to support Eat Up Australia was a great example of giving back at a local level.
