ABOUT ASI TRAINERS

Brett Gilbertson, Digital skills trainer & coach

Brett has been using Windows based tablets since 2003. The constant questions and feedback about those early tablets led Brett to start the www.tabletpc.com.au website in 2005 and ultimately to co-found Tablet PC in 2009. His Tablet PC YouTube channel has had over 10 Million views. Training has been a key success driver for Tablet PC customers. Brett has worked over the last 12 years to develop Tablet PC training programs that have been shared with thousands of Tablet users from construction workers to some of Australia’s top executives, politicians, and leaders. Brett was named a Microsoft MVP (Most Valuable Professional) for Tablet and Touch (2011 –2014), Surface (2015) and Windows and Devices (2017-2018). Brett has regularly engaged with Microsoft in Redmond, London, and Sydney to give training and feedback to product and sales teams.

Mathew Gilbertson, Productivity specialist

Mathew started putting Tablets to productive use in 2003. As a builder with several trade qualifications Mathew needed to be able to work anywhere on anything. Using those early Tablet PCs onsite resulted in significant personal productivity gains. Tablet PCs with digital pen helped Mathew to save more than 20 hours per week from his workflow by eliminating paper, duplication, and unnecessary travel. That practical field experience led him to co-found Tablet PC in 2009. Over the last 12 years Mathew has trained thousands of people – from council, construction, and mining workers to some of Australia’s top CE s and politicians – on how to be more efficient with their tablets. That experience and the research it’s driven mean that you will often hear him talking about the importance of the digital pen to human thinking, memory, and creativity. Mathew has been named a Microsoft MVP (Most Valuable Professional) for Office Apps and Services (OneNote) 2017 – 2022 and readily declares Microsoft OneNote “the BEST application Ever!” Feel free to ask him why.
