The latest edition is powered by the Snapdragon® X2 Plus processor, with an 80 TOPS Qualcomm® Hexagon™ NPU for on-device AI, up to 22.5 hours of battery life and enterprise security in a 1.23 kg aluminium chassis. It fits cleanly into Microsoft-managed environments and suits knowledge worker, hybrid and mobile roles.
Lightweight and mobile by design
At 1.23 kg with a slim 15.6 mm profile, Surface Laptop 13-inch is the most portable device in the Surface Laptop for Business range. The clamshell design is clean and quiet, with a full-size backlit keyboard that works as well at a desk as it does in a boardroom or out of a bag. The taller 3:2 display shows more of a page than a standard 13-inch laptop.
Built for business use
Surface Laptop 13-inch runs Windows 11 Pro with enterprise security features and supports standardised fleet deployment using Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot. The removable SSD supports data retention policies and secure device lifecycle management across the fleet, and most key components can be replaced on-site by a skilled technician.
AI-ready with Snapdragon
The Snapdragon® X2 Plus processor includes an 80 TOPS Qualcomm® Hexagon™ NPU for on-device AI processing. It powers Copilot+ PC experiences including Recall (preview), Click to Do, Live Captions with translation, Improved Windows Search and Windows Studio Effects, running AI tasks locally rather than sending data to the cloud to do it.
Built for Business
Surface Pro for Business is designed to meet the security, deployment, and lifecycle requirements of modern organisations.
Secure and ready for business environments
Surface Laptop 13-inch uses a chip-to-cloud security approach, with Microsoft Pluton and TPM 2.0 built in at the hardware level. Protection extends through Windows 11 Pro, BitLocker support and the Windows Hello Fingerprint Power Button with Enhanced Sign-in Security. Firmware is Microsoft-built, with Surface UEFI using memory-safe Patina and Project Mu components, and updates arrive through Windows Update. Secured-core PC protections mean security is active from first boot through to ongoing fleet management.
As a Microsoft Surface Platinum Partner, ASI helps ensure devices are configured to organisational security standards from day one, not default consumer settings.
Designed for modern device management
Surface Laptop 13-inch supports standardised fleet deployments using Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot.
