What’s it called?
Extended Hardware Service (EHS) Plus with On-site repair.

Why is this important?
Microsoft is moving away from an exchange-only model to a more serviceable product line, enabling you to maximise your return on investment for devices and helping Microsoft and customers to achieve our sustainability goals.

This significant milestone provides customers with the ability to have their Surface devices repaired on-site by a Microsoft technician.

Microsoft continues to innovate its serviceable designs to get the most out of Surface devices. Customers can choose how to service their devices to solve issues quickly and minimise device downtime, whether through our new EHS Plus with On-site repair, our growing Authorised Service Provider (ASP) network or via customer self-repair.

Microsoft On-site repair addresses the #1 ask by our customers. Launching in Australia first, On-site repair will unlock new opportunities with Government and Commercial customers.
